Wonderful Wednesday

Today I had to thank someone for going through everything she has in her life and for being willing and able to guide me through similar events!  It's one thing to go through life and blaming God or people for things that have happened, and a completely different thing to try to figure out how to turn it all around to make oneself better.  This, I believe, she has done.

I hope that some day someone will take my daughter aside and teach her from their life experiences, rather than her going to a peer and just trying to make it through, without the knowledge and understanding of why we are the way we are.

I know that I am not the only person here who has been dealt a lot of "stuff" in their lives.  I am just learning, however, that there are different ways the same "stuff" can be used to make us a better person.

For those of you who are going through your own "stuff", hold on to the fact that God will bring you through it... persevere... hold on to those helping and willing hands of those who are offering... and by all means, if you need to "dump", I'm willing to listen... not here, but let me know, and we can touch base.

My Five Good Things today are:

1.  A gentle breeze
2.  The sound of neighbors mowing their lawns (we don't have to... horses are our friends)
3.  I don't have to make dinner (dear daughter is doing it)
4.  We have food for dinner
5.  Tea - gotta love it

Cheers,
D

Been looking through your posts... and enjoying them. I'm glad you mentioned it on Facebook - good place for networking eh! Keep at it!

BTW, wondering if you know my cousin, Taryn Lowe? She lives in Smithers...

Thanks for letting reading Norma! No, I don't know Taryn. I'll try to keep her name in my head, in case I ever do meet her.

How are you doing? It's great to hear from you.
